Matthew Tyson

Matthew practices mainly in the areas of commercial law, equity and trusts, administrative law, private international law, corruption (including ICAC inquiries) and white collar crime, and military law. He is a Senior Member (part-time) in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. He is an officer in the Royal Australian Navy and appears at courts martial and Defence Force Magistrate trials. Matthew has practised for more than twenty years at the NSW Bar. Prior to the bar, he was a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He has degrees in the BCL (Honours 1st class) from Oxford University and Arts/Law from UNSW.
