Justin Hewitt SC

Justin has a broad equity and commercial practice which includes corporations, financial services, trusts and property matters. He has extensive experience in regulatory proceedings, class actions and appeals and frequently appears in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Justin was Associate to the Honourable Justice Gummow at the High Court of Australia and a solicitor at Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills). He completed an LLM at New York University School of Law before practising as an attorney at Shearman & Sterling in New York for five years.
